Principal's Message

As the principal of Government Degree College, Kasganj , I welcome you to the college website which aims at providing access to a wealth of information on the activities and programmes offered here.

It is an honour and a privilege to lead an extremely talented and dedicated team of educators and learners at GDC, Kasganj.

True education means much more than the pursual of a certain course of study. It opens bridges to acquire knowledge, fosters critical and creative thinking and instills social and environmental responsiveness. Along with individual wellbeing, constructive community engagement and celebrating our community’s diversity is equally important.

Our endeavour is to develop a knowledgeable academic connection between the students and the teachers to create a supportive, positive and vibrant atmosphere where the students can dare to dream, explore their potential to grow into the best versions of themselves and become productive citizens.

In alignment with the National Educational Policy 2020, we intend to bring out the unique capabilities of each student by aiming to impart skill based education that is more holistic and multi disciplinary with flexible curricula and creative combinations of subjects. Special emphasis is laid on integrating vocational education with general academic education to assist students in achieving academic expertise as well as acquiring various life skills and enhancing their employability.

The goal is to extend learning beyond the classrooms to effectively allow students to engage in a world of future and become life long learners in an ever changing world.
